Could Mark Hamill Be Hinting At Luke’s Turn To The Dark Side In The Last Jedi?

There's been a lot of speculation whether Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) is turning over to the Dark Side in Star Wars: The Last Jedi. Not only has the first teaser hinted at a darker arc for the Star Wars sequel trilogy, but recently released posters for the upcoming film has also hinted at a shift for the franchise's beloved Jedi.

Now, a new post by Hamill on Twitter seems to suggest that Luke could really turn to the Dark Side.

Taking to Twitter, the Star Wars shared a couple of photos joking that villains in the Star Wars posters traditionally lurk at the back till they get to chance to loom over in front of a box like Kylo Ren (Adam Driver).

While the tweet seems innocent enough, some fans have taken the post as a hint that Luke could really turn to the dark side. In the IMAX displays, Luke is placed at the very back of both the Light and Dark Sides, and the placement could be an indication of the Jedi's alignment with the Force in the film.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi premieres on December 15, 2017.
