Could Avengers 4 Be Bringing Characters Back From the Dead?

The Marvel Cinematic Universe might be one of the most successful comic book movie franchises in the Hollywood industry, but it still has its flaws, and one of the most noticeable problems with the franchise is its tendency to constantly bring dead characters back to life.

While the Avengers directors Anthony and Joe Russo have promised Marvel fans that stakes would be raised in Infinity War and Avengers 4, a recent photo that Robert Downey Jr. posted on Instagram is adding fuel to the rumors that a couple of dead MCU characters might make it to Avengers 4.

Downey just recently worked on a benefit production titled Our Town. Starring some of Marvel's biggest stars like Downey, Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlet Johansson, Jeremy Renner and Dania Gurira, the production includes a few former MCU stars like Frank Grillo and Maximiliano Hernandez, actors who played Crossbones and Jasper Sitwell.

While it can be reasoned that the Grillo and Hernandez were simply brought back for Our Town, the production was held in Atlanta, the same city where Marvel is shooting Avengers 4. Could the studio really be bringing back Crossbones and Jasper? Or are the fans cooking up these theories just reading too much into the picture?

Avengers: Infinity War hits cinemas May 4, 2018, while Avengers 4 makes its big debut on May 3, 2019.
