Charlie Cox Is Hoping Daredevil Gets To Partner With Spider-Man In The MCU

It looks like Daredevil star Charlie Cox is hoping that Matt Murdock might be able to team-up with Tom Holland's Spider-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe someday.

Speaking with fans at a Question and Answer session during a panel at the Las Vegas Comic Con (via Collider), Cox was asked who he'd like to see Daredevil partner up with in the MCU. Though the Daredevil star was cautious in giving an answer, saying that he had to be "really careful here," Cox did cave in.

"I mean, I'm sure I can say this. And I'll just preface it by saying that I can't see how this would happen. Maybe it will, maybe it won't. But I have no information to suggest that this would ever happen. But it'd be really cool to see…I'd love to do something with Spider-Man."

It's interesting how careful Cox is with his words. Could there really be room for Daredevil and the rest of the members of the Defenders in the MCU? Though we all know that Marvel TV and Marvel Studios have had a pretty test relationship, things could change, especially with Phase 3 of the MCU coming to an end. However, knowing how secretive Marvel is, we might not be able to get any confirmation from Marvel Studios' big wigs any time soon, especially when the studio's busy working on Avengers 4 and the last few films of Phase 3.

Marvel's latest film, Ant-Man and the Wasp, is currently screening in cinemas.
