Carrie-Anne Moss To Reprise Her Jessica Jones Role on Marvel's Iron Fist

The Matrix star Carrie-Anne Moss is set to reprise her Marvel Universe role as the lawyer Jeri Hogarth in the upcoming Netflix series Iron Fist. Her character was first introduced in the Jessica Jones series, and she briefly appeared in Daredevil's second season --when she offered Foggy a job.

Marvel announced the news, which also stated that she will provide help for Danny Rand (Fin Jones) as he returns to New York. Here's what Executive Producer and Head of Marvel Television Jeph Loeb said in a statement:

"Carrie-Anne has fast become a fan-favorite part of our street level saga, and we share our viewers' excitement in bringing her into Marvel's Iron Fist. As Marvel fans know, Hogarth in the comics plays a critical role in the life of Danny Rand so it seems only fitting that Carrie-Anne join in."

It sounds like she'll have a more significant role in the Iron Fist. Here's what Executive Producer and Showrunner Scott Buck added:

It's always nice to see characters crossover between shows, but it seems like Hell's Kitchen is such a small area for them to meet and interact with key actors. I just hope they'll find a way to naturally connect them. Moss will join Jessica Henwick, who is playing Colleen Wing; David Weham as Harld Meachum; Jessica Stroup as Joy Meachum; and Tom Pelphrey as Ward Meachum.

Synopsis:

In "Marvel's Iron Fist," Danny Rand returns to New York City after being missing for years, trying to reconnect with his past and his family legacy. He fights against the criminal element corrupting his world around him with his incredible kung-fu mastery and ability to summon the awesome power of the fiery Iron Fist.
