Cara Delevingne Is Positive That She Won’t Be Coming Back As Enchantress In Suicide Squad 2

Let's all face it, even if Suicide Squad was a critical bomb, the movie made a ton of cash in the box office, and Warner Bros is already working out the sequel. A lot of fans can expect Deadshot and Harley Quinn to come back, but Cara Delevingne seems "pretty sure" that she won't be asked to reprise her role as June Moon.

Talking to USA Today, Delevingne said:

"It was a life-changing experience and of course I'd do another one, but I don't think it would make sense for the character. I'll probably still be on the set hanging out with everyone."

I actually thought that Rick Flag was one of the more likeable characters in the movie, and I'd be happy to see him return in the sequel. Delevingne doesn't have to play a big part, but I would still want to know how June Moon is handling herself after the events of the first movie.

To be honest, I thought Suicide Squad did a terrible job in making us expect that Enchantress was going to be part of the actual team. I mean, sure the plan was to have her join Task Force X from the get-go, but the only real reason the team was brought together was because the Enchantress started blowing things up.

Don't even get me started on how under-marketed Slipknot was. They barely even made him look like a member of the actual team, and everyone saw his death coming from a mile away. There wasn't a least bit of shock to the audience when his head blew up in the movie.

Right now Suicide Squad 2 is getting a rewrite from Avengers' Zak Penn, and we still don't have an official release date. Hopefully SDCC 2017 gives us an update on the project.
