Bryan Fuller Shows Concept Art For Starz' Adaptation of Neil Gaiman's American Gods

The TV adaptation of Neil Gaiman's American Gods has been in development for nearly five years, and Starz finally green-lit the project with Hannibal's Bryan Fuller and Heroes' Michael Green as showrunners. Neil Gaiman will also executive produce to the series. There's no word yet on when the series will be released, but I'm glad to know that they're moving forward with a series that I never thought I'd see on TV. Here's the synopsis:

The plot posits a war brewing between old and new gods: the traditional gods of biblical and mythological roots from around the world steadily losing believers to an upstart pantheon of gods reflecting society's modern love of money, technology, media, celebrity and drugs. Its protagonist, Shadow Moon, is an ex-con who becomes bodyguard and traveling partner to Mr. Wednesday, a conman but in reality one of the older gods, on a cross-country mission to gather his forces in preparation to battle the new deities.

Now Fuller has taken it to Twitter to post some concept art for the project, and Gaiman chimed in as well. Check out these fantastic images:
