Bryan Cranston Says Zordon Has An Agenda in Power Rangers Movie

Bryan Cranston shared more insight on his role as Zordon in the upcoming Power Rangers film.

Speaking to ET, Cranston said the stroy of Zordon is similar to the original show character, who said he had been trapped in a time warp by the evil Rita Repulsa.

"The tenant of that storyline is that this a real person who is trapped in this etherworld and it becomes this in-the-wall so to speak of [the command center]," Cranston said. "He still has a heart and mind, but an agenda that he's got to get these five Power Rangers to defend the earth or else everyone they know will be killed."

It sounds like Zordon is more complex, more human than the original.

Cranston also said that the performance involves "a lot of CGI work

."

Power Rangers
