Brie Larson Said She Had To Make Sacrifices To Star In Captain Marvel

With how huge Marvel Studios films are, there are certainly pros and cons when it comes to working on them. Brie Larson will be starring as the first female superhero in the MCU, and she reveals that she had to make a tough choice before she went onboard the Marvel ship.

Speaking to Porter Magazine (via Digital Spy), Larson explains:

"I spent months thinking about whether or not I was going to do the film, and I realized that it was a chance to tell a story on the largest scale possible. I know it is going to make me lose some of the things I love most about my life, but I think it's worth it."

We don't know what she means about losing the things she "loves most," but I'm going to take a wild guess and say that she's talking about her privacy when it comes to her public life. Though these Marvel movies give you an instant career boost, they also make people instantly recognizable everywhere they go.

Chris Pratt was just lovable Andy Dwyer in Parks and Rec but after Guardians of the Galaxy, everyone suddenly took notice to him as Star-Lord. He's been starring in a lot of movies, but the work and travelling has caused some strain with his personal relationships.

With Captain Marvel basically serving as the Wonder Woman of Marvel, we don't know exactly how big this movie is going to be. Hopefully Larson's Carol Danvers will fit right in with the likes of Thor, Iron Man, and Captain America.

Captain Marvel is set for a release on March 8, 2019.
