Tom Holland's new Netflix thriller The Devil All the Time is finally here and fans couldn't help but gush over the Spider-Man actor's intense performance in the film which also stars Robert Pattinson, Sebastian Stan, Riley Keough, and Bill Skarsgård among others.
The Marvel actor instantly became a hot trending topic on Twitter, just hours following the film's worldwide premiere on the hit streaming service. Some fans were even confident enough to say that his performance in the film is enough to land him an Academy Award nomination next year. Whoa. Quite the endorsement, I would say! An adaptation of Donald Ray Pollock's award-winning novel, the film revolves around the story of a young boy named Arvin Russell who witnesses how the wicked and sinister people in their small town of Knockemstiff threaten his family.
I don't know about you but it's nice to see Holland get the recognition he rightfully deserves. It's also thrilling to witness him break out of his comfort zone and take on more serious acting roles. It goes to show that he's more than just a superhero-caliber actor and Hollywood should totally be on the lookout for him.
