It's not a secret anymore how Disney and Lucasfilm have struck major gold with the creation of The Mandalorian and the show has been making waves and consistently delighting fans since its first season. The show, which follows the exploits of Mando and Baby Yoda has seemingly reinvigorated the entire Star Wars Universe which has been seen by many fans as a pretty polarizing franchise for a number of years now.

Thanks to its massive success, The Mandalorian is now serving as the boost Disney+'s Star Wars catalog has been needing since its inception. In fact, the show is benefiting another Star Wars series, Star Wars: The Clone Wars which has seen a huge spike in viewership as of late and it's not exactly hard to understand why it's all happening now considering the fact that Season 2 has been bringing familiar faces from the beloved animated series.

According to Parrot Analytics (via The Verge), Clone Wars' popularity skyrocketed in 2019 following the release of The Mandalorian. Parrot's Vice President of Marketing Samuel Stadler claims that the animated series saw a "level of demand from US audiences that is many factors greater than anything it has experienced before."

It's a massive win for the folks over at Disney and this triumph only proves that they can capitalize on Clone Wars' entire history and completely integrate it into TheMandalorian and possibly, more Star Wars spinoff shows in the future.

That said, The Mandalorian Season 2 is streaming on Disney+.
