It's already hard to imagine a different actress playing Wonder Woman other than Gal Gadot but apparently, Amazon Prime's hit superhero series The Boys has opened a lot of eyes to other possible options besides the Israeli stunner. In fact, a lot of fans have been thinking that Dominique McElligott who plays a badass Wonder Woman-like character, Queen Maeve, in the series would've been a good fit for the iconic DC role.

The argument was intensified when artist BossLogic unveiled his eye-catching artwork to celebrate the annual Wonder Woman Day. Instead of creating a Gal Gadot-inspired piece, the Aussie illustrator shared an image that sees McElligott as the DC Extended Universe's Amazonian princess. I gotta say, it's pretty darn convincing. See it for yourself below:

Naturally, it garnered mixed reactions from comic book fans but what's surprising is the fact that a lot of people actually believe she'd be a better Diana Prince than Gadot. What do you think? Check out some of the responses here:

While I'm beyond pleased with Gal Gadot's performance as Wonder Woman so far, I'm not gonna lie, Dominique definitely looks the part. Well, I mean, that was the entire point of her The Boys casting anyway, to create some sort of Wonder Woman parody. Although I'm not saying I'd be okay to see Gal get replaced by someone else because she's done a great job as Diana, I think there's a place for Dominique somewhere in the DC film universe. I don't know, maybe an alternate version of the character? McElligott as the Crime Syndicate of America's Superwoman would be awesome, too!

The Boys Season 2 is streaming on Amazon Prime.
