The hit Spider-Man game on PlayStation is getting a remastered version on PS5 which coincides with the release of Spider-Man: Miles Morales. However, the said game will only be available digitally via a special voucher that comes with the Miles Morales Ultimate Edition and as of now, there are no plans for it to be released physically.

The news is coming straight from developer Insomniac Games. Responding to a fan's question on Twitter who ask if they're releasing it via CD, the company's official handle officially confirmed: "no plans to release physically".

Although it would be an issue for gamers who prefer physical copies over digitally-downloaded ones, the remastered version of the open-world action-adventure game released back in 2018 is still a must-get, especially if you were pleased with the original version. So far, we know little about the upcoming remaster but I bet it'll be just as fun as its predecessor, if not better.

Spider-Man: Miles Morales will hit stores on November 12 for $49.99 available for both the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 4 consoles. The Spider-Man remaster on the other hand will be a PS5 exclusive for $69.99.
