Shuri's fate in the Marvel Cinematic Universe is still uncertain following the tragic passing of Black Panther actor Chadwick Boseman. To some fans, the most logical move for Marvel Studios is to turn her into the next Black Panther but other people have far more interesting ideas for Shuri and it's something fresh and intriguing.
The ever-so-awesome BossLogic shared his marvelous poster depicting T'Challa's younger sister Shuri, played by actress Letitia Wright as the MCU's Ironheart. To those unaware, Ironheart aka Riri Williams is Iron Man's sorta successor after Tony Stark was put in a coma by Captain Marvel during the events of Civil War II. See the epic artwork here:
A drastic move like that would be nothing new as the MCU is known for tweaking some of its character's origins, sometimes ignoring their comic book counterparts. Now, putting Shuri in an even bigger spot in the universe would be a great decision for Marvel Studios not only from a business standpoint but from a fan perspective. With T'Challa potentially leaving the franchise for good, Shuri stepping up to the plate would be a treat to see and it gives Letitia Wright her moment to shine.
As of writing, plans for Black Panther 2 have yet to be announced.
