2019's Shazam! proved to be a sleeper hit and another major win for the DC Extended Universe and that's why a sequel is already in the works over at Warner Bros. Pictures. While we still have no clue what goes down in the next film titled Shazam! Fury of the Gods, we can only expect it to be an even wackier and action-packed film considering the fact that the "Shazam! family" will be joining the fun.

Now, ahead of the film's still-to-be-determined production start date, director David F. Sandberg is already hyping up the film by unveiling a glorious crossover poster which features a who's who of pop culture and comic book film icons. The fan-made poster sees Billy Batson team up with the likes of his DCEU compeers Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman, the MCU's Iron Man, Thor, and Captain America, the Star Wars Universe's Luke Skywalker and Rey (Skywalker), and even John Wick himself! Now that's a super dream team right there. Check it out here:

Shazam!'s success can be attributed to the film's lighthearted nature and it only goes to prove that the DCEU can also feature comedic undertones in their movies that wouldn't come across as forced. It's great that they've seemingly cracked the code and things can only go up for the franchise. And let's be real here, any franchise with Zachary Levi in it is guaranteed to be a fun riot.

Shazam! Fury of the Gods is currently in development.
