Justice League Star Ben Affleck Trolled by Matt Damon for Losing Batman Role to Robert Pattinson

Real-life pals Ben Affleck and Matt Damon are teaming up for a new Omaze campaign for the benefit of the Eastern Congo Initiative and Water.org. The charity contest's lucky winner will get the once in a lifetime chance of having lunch with the two stars in Los Angeles. To promote the cause, the duo appeared together in a campaign ad on Instagram and things went hysterical real quick.

The video is filled with countless hilarious banters between the two Hollywood A-listers but arguably the funniest bit from the entire clip took place when The Martian actor roasted Affleck for "losing" his The Batman role to Robert Pattinson. Ben would then try to troll back by mentioning Damon's Bourne franchise successor Jeremy Renner but to no avail. Check it out here:

This is actually the first time Ben has acknowledged Pattinson's upcoming version of the Dark Knight and it's nice to know that he can finally crack jokes about it considering how stressful and chaotic his time with the project was. To give you a little refresher, Affleck was originally penciled to direct and star in The Batman before Matt Reeves took over. He would later abandon the project altogether, as well as his Batman role in early 2019. Thankfully, Affleck's Batman journey is about to be renewed in the Snyder Cut of Justice League and he's also set to make his triumphant return in The Flash alongside JL co-star Ezra Miller. Affleck seems to be in high spirits these days which is great given the fact that he's a tremendous actor and did the caped crusader justice.

The much-awaited arrival of Zack Snyder's Justice League happens in 2021 on HBO Max.
