Snyder Cut devotees will surely be thrilled about this news. According to the latest development reported by The Hollywood Reporter, ex-DC and Warner Bros. executives, Geoff Johns and John Berg will not be given producer credits for the upcoming Justice League project helmed by the film's original director Zack Snyder.

A lot of people believe, including some of the cast members themselves that Johns and Berg were mainly responsible for sabotaging the original theatrical cut of the film along with director Joss Whedon. Of course, we all know by now that the 2017 film was one giant hot mess, even though it did pretty decently at the box office. The report says that the decision to have their names removed from the film came from the two former executives themselves as they're not exactly attached to the project. According to a source, the move is also Johns and Berg's way of paying "respect to Snyder's creative vision and the additional photography shoot."

Now, with all of the unnecessary baggage finally out of the way, this could spell great things for Zack Snyder and his crew. Warner Bros. has long been accused of meddling with the DC Extended Universe and the film directors' vision which pretty much affected the entire franchise and led to it having a rough start. With Johns and Berg out of the picture, this gives Snyder full creative control of the project, not to mention the confidence to work on his original plans for the film.
