Zack Snyder has been extremely busy putting together the pieces of his upcoming cut of Justice League over the last couple of months but you may be shocked to learn that it's not the only thing he is working on currently. Apparently, Snyder is releasing a remastered version of his 2016 DC film Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice which is said to drop before JL's Snyder Cut premieres on HBO Max.

In true Snyder fashion, the director announced the exciting news on his Vero account where he mostly drops all his updates regarding his DCEU projects, teasing that we will "see a bit more" with this new version. That could either mean that the film will be adding more unseen footage or he's just referring to the fact that we'll see each frame in full this time around. He didn't confirm when it'll be released but Snyder is confident that the remaster will drop before Justice League does.

I think it's a clever move from Snyder because of course, BvS sets up the JusticeLeague film and releasing it before the Snyder Cut will give fans a little refresher of exactly what led to the formation of the League, especially for those who haven't seen the 2016 film. Now, I wouldn't exactly be expecting to see new clips in the BvS remaster as I think we've already seen everything in the 3-hour Ultimate Edition but who knows? Snyder may have some surprises up his sleeve.

That said, the Snyder Cut of Justice League will premiere "very soon" on HBO Max.
