Warner Bros. is reportedly quite adamant in convincing Joaquin Phoenix to reprise his role as the one and only Clown Prince of Crime in two Joker sequels.

As per The Mirror, WB allegedly offered the Oscar-winning actor a whopping $50 million just to wreak havoc in Gotham City anew as the deranged and dangerous Mistah J. Their source claims that while Joaquin initially thought Joker should be nothing more than a standalone film, he's apparently having a change of heart. "Joaquin initially felt Joker was a standalone movie. But he's changed his tune now. He says he wants to play this character again, despite the controversies that came with the release last year."

Nothing has officially been confirmed as of writing but it would be a treat to see not one, but two more Joker films, especially since the original, left the door wide open for a possible sequel.

Joker is one of 2019's sleeper hits and it isn't all that surprising that the clamor for Joaquin is huge. Hell, I'm also part of his Joker fan club and I personally believe that this brilliant project shouldn't end after just one film. Now, would it be too much to ask for an Arthur Fleck and Battinson crossover film? Sure, the general belief as of now is that they're set in two separate universes but with The Flash coming in to "restart" the entire DC film franchise, maybe there's hope for this epic crossover to happen. I sure am keeping my fingers crossed!

Joaquin's next project will be a drama titled C'mon C'mon.
