While we await new details regarding the next chapter of Final Fantasy VII's remake, one of the voices of the hit video game series is hyping up the excitement ahead of FFVII part 2's rumored release date sometime in early 2021. Briana White, the voice actor who plays Aerith Gainsborough in the remake has decided to bring the iconic video game character to life, and to call it majestic doesn't really do it justice.
Taking to Twitter, White shared her breathtaking cosplay of Aerith, and boy, I gotta say, she got the look down to a tee. The actress opted to go for the character's classic look and she even carries a bouquet of yellow flowers which gave her cosplay more spot-on points. Now, tell me that doesn't scream Aerith to you. The remake of Final Fantasy VII spelled great things for Square Enix and it's amazing to see how they have managed to meet and even exceed expectations from avid gamers and longtime fans of the Final Fantasy franchise. That, of course, leads us to the arrival of the remake's second chapter and who knows what's next for the franchise. We could end up getting more chapters to the already impressive remake. Now, its massive success opens a lot of doors for future remakes in the series, as well as the opportunity for other classic video game titles to follow suit. Sure, if it ain't broke, don't fix it but even the best of games deserve some modern-day reimagining.
