We're a few months away from finally witnessing the Snyder Cut of Justice League and it's a monumental win for the entire comic book community which only proves that anything is possible in the world of superhero films. If anything, this move pretty much opens the doors for other defunct franchises to potentially start anew and pick up where they left off and according to Darkseid voice actor Ray Porter, Marvel must take a page out of DC's playbook and give fans the canceled fourth Spider-Man film starring Tobey Maguire.

In a new video, the Argo actor demanded sony to give fans what they want and continue Sam Raimi's Spider-Man franchise which ended quite awfully in 2007. "Please bring back Tobey Maguire as Spider-Man in Spider-Man 4," he said. "The fans really, really want him. They were so sad when they heard about the cancelation of Spider-Man 4... You know what to do." Check it out here:

The unfortunate cancelation of the supposed Spider-Man 4 still remains as one of the biggest what-ifs in superhero film history. Just recently, however, webheads seemed to have renewed hope with regard to Tobey's return to the Marvel Universe, thanks to the rumors that claim he and Andrew Garfield will be joining Tom Holland in the MCU's third Spidey film. Apparently, that's not the case as Sony previously debunked the said reports but that's not to say it couldn't happen at some point. It all depends I guess on how willing Marvel and Sony really are to get things going.

Speaking of the Snyder Cut, the highly anticipated project arrives in 2021 on HBO Max.
