Excitement has been building up ahead of Cyberpunk 2077's official launch day this week but gamers may want to take extra precautions before diving into the game. A new report claims that the highly-anticipated action-adventure game contains some gameplay issues that could trigger headaches and even epileptic seizures. Uh-oh.

The folks over at Game Informer warned fans about the hazards of playing the game without being aware of the said issues. According to their pre-release report, Cyberpunk 2077 makes use of red and blue glitch effects as well as rapid white and red blinking LEDs in the game which of course would not be good if the user has a history of epileptic seizures.

Liana Ruppert, the writer who released the PSA came out to share that she allegedly had a first-hand experience of the game's triggering graphics. "During my time with Cyberpunk 2077, I suffered one major seizure and felt several moments where I was close to another one. I kept going because I made that decision too, and I feel like that decision helped me sort of slap together a small little guide for players wanting to take part in this game for fear of missing out," a part of the PSA reads.

CD Projekt has yet to release an official statement regarding the claims but it sure wouldn't hurt if you guys would be extra careful while playing the game. Hopefully, this news would spread much awareness to avoid disaster. Thankfully, we found out about the said issues this early.

Cyberpunk 2077 officially launches on Xbox Series X & S, PlayStation 4 & 5, and PC on December 10.
