DC's newest crossover event Justice League: Endless Winter is hitting shelves later this year and the comic book giant has finally unveiled the special covers along with juicy details surrounding the epic affair.

In the nine-chapter event, the Justice League will be facing a new icy foe called the Frost King who has apparently taken over Superman's home — the Fortress of Solitude. But what comes as the biggest surprise for the upcoming crossover is the inclusion of the returning Black Adam who will side with our favorite DC superheroes.

Endless Winter will run across nine standalone issues, which include the ongoing Justice League, The Flash, Aquaman, and JusticeLeague Dark titles. The issues will be written by Andy Lanning and Ron Marz with artists like Howard Porter, Clayton Henry, Francis Manapul, Rafael Grassetti, Mike McKone and more all providing the artwork. You can get a glimpse at some of the comic covers below:

We still don't know what to expect from the upcoming crossover but given DC has produced memorable crossovers in the past, I'm pretty confident the folks over at DC know what they're dealing with and Endless Winter could very well live up to the hype.
