Black Panther: Entire Cast Comes Together In New Poster

Thor: Ragnarok was yet another success for Marvel Studios, and a lot of people are eager to see what's in line for the MCU next year. Though a lot of attention is going to the release of Avengers: Infinity War, this February will see Black Panther hit theaters, and we have a new poster featuring every major player in the cast.

Though it can be argued that Luke Cage would be the first black lead in the MCU, Chadwick Boseman's T'Challa will be the first one to lead his own movie. Though some fans could say that the likes of Falcon and War Machine have been in the MCU for a while, they are really just sidekicks for characters like Iron Man and Captain America.

Here's the synopsis for the film:

Marvel Studios' "Black Panther" follows T'Challa who, after the death of his father, the King of Wakanda, returns home to the isolated, technologically advanced African nation to succeed to the throne and take his rightful place as king. But when a powerful old enemy reappears, T'Challa's mettle as king—and Black Panther—is tested when he is drawn into a formidable conflict that puts the fate of Wakanda and the entire world at risk. Faced with treachery and danger, the young king must rally his allies and release the full power of Black Panther to defeat his foes and secure the safety of his people and their way of life.

Like the rest of the MCU films, Black Panther looks amazing. I'm just hoping that they make the villains as compelling as the more recent Marvel films. Ego the Living Planet and the Vulture were great antagonists, but I felt that Hela from Ragnarok fell a bit flat. Let's see what Michael B. Jordan and Andy Serkis will bring to the film.

Black Panther comes out Feb. 16, 2018.
