Bethesda Teases New Fallout Game

Bethesda seems to be teasing a new Fallout game and now E3 is even more exciting. The publisher tweeted out a teaser that simply says Please Stand By over some grainy footage, which has become the universal sign of a Fallout title. Let the speculation commence and should it actually happen, fans will be happy to sink hours into this title.

The last game in the series thus far was Fallout 4, which got positive reviews though it did have the usual bugs that plague an open-world Bethesda game. If a new game is coming out this soon, one has to wonder if it will be Fallout 5 or a New Vegas-like title that takes the Fallout 4 engine and puts players in a new setting.

As if that wasn't enough to get excited, Bethesda has now started a livestream featuring the test pattern and a figure of Vault Boy. Honestly, if this doesn't end up being a new game in the series the publisher will get heat for trolling fans. Then again, why go out of your way to tease a new game if you won't deliver it?

One other possibility could be a Nintendo Switch port of either Fallout 3 or Fallout 4. Bethesda has been porting games to the console/handheld hybrid lately, with Wolfenstein II set for release in June while Doom is available already.

Stay tuned for more details.
