Ben Affleck Calls Justice League An 'Interesting Product Of Two Directors'

Out of all the stars of Justice League, Ben Affleck is probably the one with the opinions that fans care about the most since he himself is an accomplished filmmaker. Though Affleck's stance in the franchise has looked a bit murky ever since the negative reception of Batman v Superman, he thinks that Justice League will be a different type of animal this time around.

Talking to Entertainment Weekly, Affleck explains:

"[Justice League is] an interesting product of two directors, both with kind of unique visions, both with really strong takes. I've never had that experience before making a movie. I have to say, I really love working with Zack, and I really love the stuff we've done with Joss."

Despite the issues with Batman v Superman, a lot of fans have come to admit that Snyder is a master when it comes to visuals. With Joss Whedon taking over the project, fans are assuming that these reshoots will have something to do with fleshing the story out better and making the tone of the movie a bit more upbeat.

You can notice a stark contrast in the marketing for Batman v Superman and Justice League, and it looks like Warner Bros (or at least the movie's marketing team) is trying its best to ensure fans that JL will be a lot lighter than BvS.

To be honest, I don't really think the tone is the problem. It's the convoluted plot and messy storytelling that was the downfall of BvS; otherwise, I thought it was a solid movie.

Justice League comes out Nov. 17.
