Zack Snyder Shares Photo of Young Darkseid from His Cut of Justice League

With all this debate on whether a "Snyder Cut" of Justice League could ever come out, Zack Snyder himself has been making small teases on Vero here and there of the movie that was supposedly his. Just in, he's shared an image of a young Darkseid a.k.a. Uxas.

With Darkseid basically being the Thanos of the DCEU, a lot of people were hyped to see the League go up against him. When Joss Whedon took over though, it was said that WB wanted all the focus on Steppenwolf instead, and a lot of plot points that were set up were supposedly dropped.

Rumor has it that the movie was supposed to have the League go up against Darkseid in Justice League 2, have them lose, ending with Darkseid flying off to Earth. Then the third movie would have taken place entirely in the "Knightmare" world from Batman v Superman, where everyone puts together their last effort to save everyone.

The idea sounded absolutely amazing, but after Batman v Superman, WB supposedly got cold feet and favored the more ‘fun' and ‘family friendly' films that we eventually got. After movies like Aquaman and Shazam! though the franchise is getting back on its feet, and we may have something special with the insane-looking Joker film.

The Snyder Cut may never be released, but you can catch Joker in theaters Oct. 4.
