Zack Snyder Gives an Emotional Thank You to Fans Who Helped the Snyder Cut Happen

After three years of everyone else saying it couldn't be done, Zack Snyder fans were able to make the impossible happen with WB giving the green light for Zack Snyder's Justice League. We know that it took a lot of work to actually make the deal happen, and Snyder has released a message for the fans thanking them for their perseverance.

Here's the snippet from his ComicBook Debate interview:

As you can see, Snyder looks like he's on the verge of tears when it comes to addressing the fans. We know that he had been encouraging everyone to ask for the Snyder Cut through all these years, and it's really satisfying to see that he's been allowed to show us his creative vision.

While some see this as a studio gratifying toxic fan behavior, I think the Snyder Cut is a completely different case. Though I do admit there are some toxic fans out there, the Snyder Cut movement was really more about respecting the artists behind the film. Snyder and the rest of the cast and crew were working on a different film that they all thought was going to be amazing, and studio interference gave us the mess that was the theatrical cut of Justice League. If you ask me, releasing Zack Snyder's Justice League is more of the studio taking back what they've done because meddling with the film in the first place was the act of ‘gratifying toxic fan behavior.'

Fingers crossed they give the same courtesy to David Ayer and his Suicide Squad.

Zack Snyder's Justice League is set to come to HBO Max this 2021.
