Yet Another Terrible Trailer for Netflix’s A Series of Unfortunate Events

Netflix hit gold when they released their adaptation of Lemony Snicket's A Series of UnfortunateEvents last year, and the second season is due to come out this March. A new trailer has come out, but in lieu of having Snicket once again narrate the plot, this time Count Olaf is taking the stage.

Here's the official description for Unfortunate Events 2:

More isn't always better. Sometimes it's much worse. March 30th, get ready for more villains, more schemes, more peril, more orphans and more intentional fires. It's really going to be quite dreadful. We can't wait.

Though some may consider the series a tad childish and cartoonish, they actually stay very faithful to the book, and everyone loves how zany Neil Patrick Harris is as the villainous Count Olaf. Though I personally prefer Jim Carrey's performance, I guess NPH is just the right amount of likeable and evil for the character. I do have my fingers crossed that Carrey makes an appearance in the third season as one of the Baudelaire guardians.

Season 2 of Unfortunate Events will cover the next five books in the series, and will end with the third season possibly in 2019.

Catch Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events 2 on Netflix March 30.
