X-Men: Dark Phoenix Test Screenings Reactions Have Not Been Good

X-Men: Dark Phoenix was originally set to come out last year, but due to several hang-ups, the film has been delayed to come out this June. What's bad news is, it looks like test screenings for the movie aren't doing so good.

This comes from The DisInsider's Skyler Shuler who posts:

Of course, this doesn't mean that the final product is going to end up terrible. There's still plenty of time till June for Fox to fix up their last entry in the main X-Men timeline. If it can turn out anything better than Apocalypse, then I guess it would be a win.

There has been a lot of bad PR when it comes to this film including delays and reshoots. It also doesn't help that this is the first film to have producer Simon Kinberg taking the helm. While I don't want movies to end up bad, I'm kind of hoping they just use this film to cap off the entire franchise. Marvel Studios is set to start development on their reboot, and I don't think there's been a good Fox X-Men film since X-Men: First Class.

Who the hell though ten year time jumps was a good idea? Am I supposed to believe Michael Fassbender and James McAvoy are playing 60-year-olds in these films?

Hopefully, Dark Phoenix manages to come out better than what people are saying. Maybe they should just release a better trailer to ease everyone's mind.

Catch X-Men: Dark Phoenix in theaters June 7.
