Why It’s Impossible for Pepper Potts to Die in Avengers: Endgame

Though we already have two promos for the movie, we still know very little about what to expect with Avengers: Infinity War. There's been a lot of speculation going around online on who will live or die, and some people have been theorizing that it's Iron Man's love interest Pepper Potts who will make the ultimate sacrifice. Too bad though, because there's already a confirmation that she lives after the movie.

If you watch the Spider-Man: Far from Home trailer, you'll see a scene where Happy Hogan (Jon Favreau) is holding a giant check. And who's signed it? Not Tony Stark, that's for sure:

We don't know what Pepper will really do in Endgame, but some set photos have confirmed that she'll be wearing the ‘Rescue' armor from the comics. Unlike Iron Man or War Machine, the suit isn't actually weaponized, and it only allows Pepper to fly or lift very heavy objects. We have no idea what her suit in the live action version will do, but I think it would be cool if they kept to the idea that it didn't have weapons.

While a lot of people are expecting some main characters to die, I would actually be happy if the film ended up giving Tony Stark and Steve Rogers happy endings. Personally, what I want for Steve is to use his time travel technology, travel back to the 40s, and live his life with Peggy Carter. That way, he could also use his knowledge of the future to shape the past.

It's corny, but I think it's a more colorful ending as compared to just having Steve Rogers sacrifice his life.

Catch Avengers: Endgame in theaters April 26.
