Westworld 3: More Information on the Data Company Incite

Delos has always been the "big company" in Westworld, but with the story moving outside of the park and into the real world, we're going to be meeting some other big corporations. Just in, HBO has released a mock promo introducing us to the data company "Incite." What's interesting is that they've also launched an official site, giving us an idea of what Incite is all about. Their official description of the company reads:

The world can feel chaotic: big problems, no solutions, no one to lead the way. Global issues may seem so complex that untangling the answers feels impossible. Here at Incite, we want to make "impossible" a thing of the past. Chaos is merely a pattern waiting to be uncovered. You can help us chart a better future.

Powered by our revolutionary strategy engine, we are able to calculate sophisticated solutions to problems large and small, from global climate change to personal career growth. We believe we have a personal responsibility to make the world a better place, starting at home. Here at Incite, your data doesn't work for us — we work for you.

With Delos usually delving into the hardware that is the hosts, it would be interesting to see what a data company like Incite can do; especially in the future world of Westworld. While I think the ‘Incite' name is interesting, I'm hoping they find a way to make a nod to another tech company in an HBO show—Pied Piper.

This is just my guess, but I think Incite is going to be the company that Aaron Paul's character goes after in the trailers. There has been a huge scandal when it comes to data gathering by companies, and the way Incite functions is basically how HYDRA planned to dominate the world in Captain America: The Winter Soldier. In that film, HYDRA had developed an algorithm to predict the future of every individual, marking them as targets should they be a future threat. What's more is the project itself was also referred to as "Project Insight."

We still don't have a specific release date for Westworld 3, but the show is set to come back sometime in 2020.
