Watchmen: Silk Spectre's Sex Toy Actually Gave Away a Dr. Manhattan Clue

[SPOILERS FOR WATCHMEN EPISODE 7]

During the episode where Laurie Blake/Silk Spectre was introduced, it was revealed that she'd been walking around with a big blue dildo that was apparently supposed to represent Dr. Manhattan's junk. What's funny is, the name of the dildo, "Excalibur" kind of gives away the status of Manhattan in the show.

As per the last episode, it was revealed that Manhattan had actually been hiding out as a human in Tulsa, specifically Angela Abar's husband, Cal Abar. If you break down the dildo's name Excalibur, it sounds like Ex (Laurie Blake's ex is Manhattan), Cal, then Abar. Now isn't that a coincidence, or some clever writing?

For now, it's teased that the next episode will reveal how Angela came to marry Dr. Manhattan, but I'm hoping we also get to see him react to what's happening in the present day. I guess a lot of people would want to see Laurie's reaction to Jon returning since she's clearly still hung up on him.

I know we only have two episodes left, but I kind of wish we got an update on Dan Dreiberg a.k.a. Nite Owl. We know that he's been incarcerated for superhero activity, but hopefully, we get to watch him reunite with Laurie in some way. Maybe we can even watch him react to television footage of Dr. Manhattan supposedly returning to Earth.
