Watch: HBO's Watchmen Set Tour Reveals Certain Easter Eggs and Plot Points

HBO's Watchmen is set to premiere this Sunday, and the network has released this set tour with one the main stars, Regina King. We don't get to see all of the film, but we get a look at some great easter eggs as well as some character insights.

Check it out:

Basically we get a look at two sets from the film, the police precinct as well as Angela's bakeshop. The precinct is interesting since there's a memorial there for the fallen officers, and the names that have been put up there are easter eggs—one of them being Watchmen comic artist Dave Gibbons.

This is also the first we know of Angela running a bakeshop as her cover. By the looks of it, the police wearing masks have all been given cover stories so that the 7th Cavalry (a.k.a. the Rorschach Cult) can't find out who they are. I thought the masks were enough, but it looks like every cop has been legally rebranded as a superhero, which I think is interesting.

I also don't know if anyone else spotted this, but the stuffed toy that creator Damon Lindelof is holding is that of Ozymandias' cat from the comics, Bubastis.

The show is looking to be pretty interesting, and based on the early reviews, a lot of critics have been raving about it. We don't know if it will last for more than one season, but Lindelof has said that it could be a one and done—depending on the reception.

Catch HBO's Watchmen when it premieres Oct. 20.
