Watch: Easter Eggs in the Wonder Woman 1984 Trailer

As promised, WB has finally dropped the first trailer for Wonder Woman 1984, and despite the extended look, we barely get an idea of the whole movie. Thanks to Mr. Sunday Movies on Youtube, we have a thorough breakdown of things we could have missed in the trailer.

Check it out:

Though we never really got a look at the invisible jet, it's possible that the show of Diana and Steve Trevor inside a cockpit is already inside the jet. I guess it's kind of established when we have a shot of the camera zooming past the fireworks.

Besides that, I didn't realize that Cheetah's appearance could be a nod to Catwoman in Batman Returns. Even the dress that Kristen Wiig wears is kind of identical to Selina Kyle's when she undergoes her transformation.

Probably the biggest question that everyone has is how Steve Trevor was brought back to life. News around the movie has been adamant that the Trevor in this film is, in fact, the Trevor who died in Wonder Woman, so the only explanation that could make sense for this world is that it could be magic. We see Diana riding lightning across the sky, so I'm convinced that the gods will also play a part in this movie. Heck, maybe the film will reveal that Maxwell Lord was another god in disguise, but then again, I like the idea that he's just a normal human.

For now, Wonder Woman 1984 is set to release on June 5, 2020.
