BoJack Horseman is a show about show business, and with the setting taking place in the fictional town of Hollywoo, it’s only natural that celebrities would make appearances here and there. Just in, Netflix has dropped a compilation of every celebrity appearance in the show.
Check it out:
What’s interesting is, while the show has other people take over the voices for actual celebs, there are some actors that go on the show to voice themselves. A few examples are Daniel Radcliffe, Margot Martindale, Paul Giamatti, and Jessica Biel. They even got Paul McCartney to come and voice himself getting out of a cake.
Though the list is already pretty expensive, I thought there were some other celebrities that were failed to be mentioned. Director Quentin Tarantulino was obviously a play at Quentin Tarantino, and Harvey Fierstein had voiced Princess Carolyn’s pregnancy assistant iOvulate.
If anything, BoJack Horseman manages to paint a realistic picture of the Hollywood culture, even if it’s a show populated by talking animals. What’s great is, despite the self-referencing of LA, we also have some legitimate reflections from BoJack and the other characters that everyone can relate to no matter what the background.
For now, the show is gearing up for the release of the second half of their final season this coming Jan. 31, 2020. You can catch the first half of season six now on Netflix.
