Toy Story 4 Gets A New Official Poster

Toy Story 3 had pretty much ended the franchise on a high note, but Pixar has been adamant on making a fourth film. Though the movie did catch a couple of snags, we now have a release date for Toy Story 4, and Disney Ireland has just dropped us a new poster.

Here's the official synopsis for the film:

Woody has always been confident about his place in the world and that his priority is taking care of his kid, whether that's Andy or Bonnie. But when Bonnie adds a reluctant new toy called "Forky" to her room, a road trip adventure alongside old and new friends will show Woody how big the world can be for a toy.

Based on the promos that have been released for the film, it looks like Woody and the gang will find themselves in a carnival at some point—and the Ferris wheel on the poster pretty much confirms it. My guess is that the toys will find themselves lost (again) and will need to find their way back to Bonnie. On the way we're going to be meeting some carnival toys, two of which, Ducky and Bunny, will be played by Jordan Peele and Keegan Michael Key.

While I remain adamant that the film series should have stopped at 3, there's still a lot of hype going around for this fourth installment. Tom Hanks himself has said that recording the dialogue has made him emotional, and this was also confirmed by Tim Allen. With Pixar usually coming up with lackluster sequels (Finding Dory, The Incredibles II), I wonder if Toy Story 4 will manage to stand on its own or will ultimately end up being forgettable.
