The Venom Movie has a Christmas Message for Everyone

The Venom movie was not the best superhero movie to come out this year, but it has been one of the most successful. With Christmas looming so ever close, the official Venom page on Twitter has left us this Holiday message ripped straight out of Love Actually.

I'll admit, I thought the Venom movie was terrible, but it isn't without its faults. For one, I think they have a very good characterization of Venom, and watching the symbiote interact with Eddie Brock is always interesting.

With the ridiculous success of Venom, Sony is said to be working on a sequel already. If we're to follow the mid-credits scene, it looks like we'll be having Venom go after Carnage this time around, not to mention there are also the other symbiotes that the Life Foundation has acquired that we didn't really get to see.

Personally, the only thing I think that could prolong the Venom franchise is if Sony makes it clear that it's part of the MCU. Then again, with Into the Spider-Verse introducing us to a multiverse of multiple Spider-Men, it's possible that Venom could get his own archnemesis who is a Spider-Man different from Tom Holland. You think Andrew Garfield would want to come back?

Journalist Eddie Brock is trying to take down Carlton Drake, the notorious and brilliant founder of the Life Foundation. While investigating one of Drake's experiments, Eddie's body merges with the alien Venom -- leaving him with superhuman strength and power. Twisted, dark and fueled by rage, Venom tries to control the new and dangerous abilities that Eddie finds so intoxicating.

Venom is now available for Blu-Ray and Digital.
