Production is finally ongoing for James Gunn's The Suicide Squad, and some set photos have been coming out online. While we already have an image of Jai Courtney in his new Captain Boomerang garb, we have some new set photos of John Cena, Idris Elba, Viola Davis,and Daniela Melchoir.

While some are sure that Cena is playing Peacemaker in the film, there's still a lot of speculation on who Elba is playing. His character was originally supposed to be Deadshot, but Gunn had reportedly changed it so he could be someone else entirely. A new rumor is going around that Elba is playing Vigilante, but some are hoping that he's Bronze Tiger, another member of the Squad from the comics.
As for Melchoir's Ratcatcher in the film, we don't see her in prison garb at all, so she could be someone entirely new. Maybe we get to see her caught in the movie, but maybe Melchoir just isn't in costume in the photo.
As for Davis, she still pretty much captures the spirit of the Amanda Waller character. A lot of fans are very happy that Gunn decided to keep her (and several other cast members from the original) onboard. Despite the critical reception, I thought Suicide Squad still had a lot of things going for it. The film looked amazing, and the casting was great; even if you didn't like Jared Leto, I'm sure his performance would have been better if they kept the original cut of David Ayer.
