The Rise of Skywalker Clip has the Emperor Taunting Kylo Ren

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is set to come out next week, and so far Lucasfilm has been doing a great job keeping everyone on the edge of their seats. What's interesting is, they've released a new clip that has Kylo Ren coming face to face with the Emperor (though we admittedly don't see his face).

What's interesting is, Palpatine is admitting to Kylo that he's been the ‘voice in his head' and it's amazing when the voice switches to Snoke's and finally to Vader's. We don't know which part of the movie this will be, but I have a feeling this will be at the very start, and that's why Lucasfilm decided to release the clip.

While a lot of people were complaining that there wasn't enough TROS promotion earlier this year, a lot more are now getting irked that Lucasfilm is ‘showing too much.' If anything, I think Lucasfilm is keeping a good cap on everything, and we should still not know what to expect by the time The Rise of Skywalker starts rolling out in theaters.

I have to admit, I was kind of annoyed that J.J. Abrams would bring the Emperor back after so long, but seeing as he was the primary antagonist for the past two trilogies, it would seem kind of empty that he would be gone from the third. I guess I'm interested to see just exactly how he's been influencing everything though he's been presumed dead for 30 years.
