A lot of people were expecting The Last of Us Part II to come out later this month, but the game has been pushed back to June. With a lot of people prepping for the release, Naught Dog has revealed the system storage requirement for the sequel.

According to IGN, players will need at least 100GB storage space for The Last of Us Part II. With the physical release of the game said to be coming with two discs, it would make sense that the digital download would need that much space.

If anything, it’s great we have that information now, so anyone who is planning to get their hands on the game will have time to look for that storage space. No doubt we could be looking at further expansions and DLC down the line, so we should probably prep more than just 100GB.

After years of waiting, we’re finally going to get our hands on The Last of Us Part II. With the first game having such a solid narrative, I can only imagine what’s in store for this upcoming sequel. Then again, there has been a serious leak of the main plot points online, so if you want to enjoy it to the fullest, I suggest you be careful going around online.

Five years after their dangerous journey across the post-pandemic United States, Ellie and Joel have settled down in Jackson, Wyoming. Living amongst a thriving community of survivors has allowed them peace and stability, despite the constant threat of the infected and other, more desperate survivors.

When a violent event disrupts that peace, Ellie embarks on a relentless journey to carry out justice and find closure. As she hunts those responsible one by one, she is confronted with the devastating physical and emotional repercussions of her actions.

The Last of Us Part II is set to come out on June 19.
