The Falcon and the Winter Soldier to Start Production in October

Marvel Studios is currently handling production of Black Widow, but in a few months, they'll be working on the first Disney+ series—The Falcon and The Winter Soldier.

As per Discussing Film, the series is set to start production at Pinewood Studios, Atlanta on Oct. 22. Keep in mind, this is just the ideal date for now, and it's still possible that things could change depending on how pre-production is going.

We don't have any official synopsis or much details about The Falcon and the Winter Soldier yet, but rumor has it that the show will deal with Sam Wilson taking on the mantle of Captain America. It's said that the government will be against Sam taking up the shield, and I guess it kind of makes sense seeing that Sam has basically been against the system ever since Civil War. When we meet him in Infinity War, he was basically on the run just like Steve Rogers was.

Besides that, we're getting the return of Daniel Bruhl's Helmut Zemo—complete with a purple ski mask. Though I thought he was an interesting bad guy in Civil War, I'm ready to see just what kind of havoc he can cause when he's let loose on the MCU. Perhaps a "Masters of Evil" team-up? We'll just have to wait and see.

The Falcon and The Winter Soldier doesn't have a specific release date, but the series is set to come to Disney+ on the fall of 2020.
