Major Villains for 'The Batman' Have Been Revealed

News came out yesterday that Matt Reeves' The Batman will include the likes of Catwoman and Firefly and now we have two more rogues joining the fray.

According to DiscussingFilm, the movie will also feature an appearance of Harvey Dent a.k.a. Two-Face and the Mad Hatter. Apparently, they want someone in their 30s-40s to play Dent, while the Hatter to be a tad older, around 40s-50s.

We don't have any news on whether Harvey's character will already be Two-Face in the movie, but granting Dent before Two-Face is his own interesting story, I'm hoping the movie would give us a chance to sympathize with his character more, making his eventual fall all the more tragic.

As for the Mad Hatter, he's an Alice and Wonderland fanatic who has a knack for mind control and hats. It's also been hinted that he's a pedophile who kidnaps little girls whose names are "Alice". Either way, it would be interesting to this villain onscreen for once.

I don't expect any of these villains to appear as main adversaries, but it would be cool if they could get cameos. If DC wants to use them again in the future though, the casting directors better have some great foresight for who would fit the roles.

Matt Reeves' The Batman is set to hit theaters June 25, 2021.
