Teen Titans Go! vs. Teen Titans Clip has Both Teams Coming Together

DC may be slowing the rolls with their live-action films, but the animated movies just keep on coming. Next month will see the release of Teen Titans Go! vs. Teen Titans, and IGN has released an exclusive clip that has both of the teams coming together.

While a lot of the fans of the OG Titans hate the new show with a burning passion, I think Go! eventually wins when it comes to their intended audience—the kids. I have to admit the humor is actually pretty fantastic, and the showrunners are aware of how this new version of the Titans is always compared to their more serious, older counterparts; so you could say that this crossover was kind of inevitable.

Admittedly, I was kind of hoping for a more action-heavy clip, but I guess this rap scene is something that stays true to the Go! sense of humor. Surely we're also going to get something that harkens back to the original version. Why bring them in at all if that wasn't the case?

In Teen Titans Go! vs. Teen Titans, the comedic modern-day quintet takes on their 2003 counterparts when villains from each of their worlds join forces to pit the two Titan teams against each other. They'll need to set aside their differences and work together to combat Trigon, Hexagon, Santa Claus (that's right, Santa!) and time itself in order to save the universe.

Teen Titans Go! vs. Teen Titans is already available on digital, but will it Blu-Ray and DVD on Oct. 15.
