Suicide Squad Director Shares Early Test Shots of Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn

While everyone is raving about the Joker movie now, next year will see his beau Harley Quinn take the spotlight with Birds of Prey. Just in, Suicide Squad director David Ayer had decided to share some early test shots of Margot Robbie for her Harley look.

Check them out:

I have to say, though I wasn't a fan of the story of Suicide Squad, the movie looked fantastic. Ayer and his team were able to give each of the characters their own specific aesthetic, and I honestly loved the look more than the set photos we're getting from James Gunn's The Suicide Squad.

As for Robbie, it seems that she's completely embracing her character of Harley Quinn. Besides Birds of Prey, she's also coming back to play the character for the next Squad film. Rumor has it that this could culminate into a Gotham City Sirens team-up then a Birds v Sirens film, but we haven't been getting any updates on that, so we'll just have to wait and see.

For now, it looks like the DCEU is getting back on its feet, and after the success of Joker, maybe WB will change its mind about giving us dark superhero films. Fingers crossed they reconsider the Snyder Cut of Justice League.

Catch Robbie's return in Birds of Prey (And The Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) when it comes out Feb. 7, 2020.
