Star Wars Theory: How Ki-Adi Mundi's Ignorance Caused the Fall of the Jedi Order

One of the fun things about being a Star Wars fan is the crazy and intricate fan theories that come up online. What's funny is, a new theory had been posted up on Reddit detailing how the entire Jedi Order came crashing down all thanks to one Master Ki-Adi Mundi.

Check it out:

What's interesting is, we have details on Mundi's so-called "ignorance" from the Clone Wars series as well. But probably his biggest mistake comes from his infamous meme line from Revenge of the Sith, "What about the droid attack on the Wookiees?" This was the line that ultimately had Yoda come to Kashyyyk, leaving Anakin to reports his discovery to Windu who couldn't handle the situation as Yoda would.

Of course, this is just a silly theory that's not worth thinking too hard about, but things might have possibly been different if Mundi wasn't so concerned about sending a Jedi to Kashyyyk. I mean, Yoda spent most of his time at the base anyway.

For now, we're set to have our final story set in the Age of Republic with the final season of Star Wars: The Clone Wars. It's said that the season will take place in the same timeline as Revenge of the Sith, and maybe we could get a retelling of the Jedi Purge from the point of view of all the other Jedi in the show.

The final season of The Clone Wars debuts on Disney+ this coming Feb. 21.
