Star Wars The Rise of Skywalker: Better Look at Kylo Ren's Fixed Helmet

Though he is one of the main characters, we barely got to see much of Kylo Ren in the new Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker trailer. We do know that he's going to be sporting a fixed version of his helmet, and we have a better image of the thing put together thanks to some promo art.

It looks like the rumors were true, and we would be getting the return of Kylo's classic helm put together with some kind of red adhesive. As it turns out, it isn't really stuck together but rather welded back in shape. We don't know how we got to those red cracks, but my guess is that it's because of the material that the helmet is made of.

So far, the only official look we have of the helmet is in the giant mural that was on display at Star Wars Celebration, but it can also be spotted in that leaked poster that came out earlier this month. No doubt, we'll be sick of the thing before the film comes out because I expect it's going to be all over the promotional material—maybe even in the next trailer, whenever that comes out.

For now, let's just be happy that we finally have a teaser and title for the film. Admittedly the hype isn't as large as that of the previous films, but I guess Disney is trying to find a good balance and not steal too much of Avengers: Endgame's spotlight.

Catch Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker in theaters Dec. 20.
