Star Wars: She-Hulk Writer Goes on Epic Rant on The Last Jedi Haters

She-Hulk writer Dana Schwartz had said that J.J. Abrams threw Rian Johnson ‘under the bus' with his latest comments on The Last Jedi, and it looks like she's not done talking. On Twitter, she has posted up this lengthy thread on why she thinks TLJ is great and why the haters are all ‘ungrateful dweebs.'

She has even more to say outside of the thread:

Of course, a lot of haters will look at this and scoff at Schwartz, but I have to say that I agree with a lot of her points. At this point, if you hated on The Last Jedi for this long, I doubt anyone is ever going to change your mind no matter how well put-together their arguments seem.

If you ask me, all opinions are valid, but The Last Jedi has now split the fandom into two camps. I noticed that most of the haters of the film are those who like to focus on lore and details in Star Wars, and complain about Force powers and the science behind ‘the Holdo Maneuver.' People who loved the film, on the other hand, are those who are more invested in storytelling, and appreciate the deconstruction of the Jedi myth and subversion of the direction that fans were already expecting.

I guess the annoying part for the latter fans is that the haters seem to be the more vocal online, and I admit it's kind of stressful to continuously be exposed to all this toxicity even after so long. If anything, we're just beginning the cycle again with the Prequel hate, and the kids who grew up watching this trilogy will have nothing but love for it when they reach adulthood and start commenting online.
