SDCC 2019 has come and gone, and we didn't get any special reveals for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker or The Mandalorian. Some people speculate we'll get the previews at D23, and good news is, it looks like we'll be getting our wish.

According to Star Wars Stuff on Twitter:

We should take this news with a grain of salt, but it's a very realistic time to have the releases.

With Disney+ set to take center stage in D23, it would make sense that they would finally give us an official look at The Mandalorian. After all, this is the show that's supposed to entice fans to subscribe (including a bunch of other Marvel miniseries). A lot of fans were disappointed that nothing official about The Mandalorian was released during Star Wars Celebration 2019, but hopefully we finally get something this month. After all, how does Disney expect us to get excited about The Mandalorian for November if we haven't gotten anything until today?

For The Rise of Skywalker, it's only the right time to start promoting the film. Since The Force Awakens, we've been lucky enough to get one Star Wars film a year, but after Solo: A Star Wars Story, there's been a long hiatus of Star Wars blockbusters. Fans have watched the TROS teaser millions of times. It's time for a brand new preview to get us excited for December.

The D23 Expo takes place from Aug. 23–25. The Mandalorian debuts on Disney+ on Nov. 12. Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker hits theaters Dec. 20.
