Star Wars: Mark Hamill Reveals the Truth About an Old Photoshoot with the Prequel Cast

Back in 2005, Vanity Fair was able to have a photoshoot which brought together the actors from both the original and prequel trilogy. Mark Hamill was also in the photo along with Carrie Fisher and Harrison Ford… but was he really?

Hamill admits on Twitter:

The photoshoot was done to promote the release of Revenge of the Sith, and was supposedly the time when the saga would be completed. Besides putting together the actors from Episode III, VF was also able to bring back actors all the way back from Episode I with Liam Neeson and Jake Lloyd.

With Hamill and his story about shooting alone, I'm starting to wonder how many of these actors were actually together when they took the shot. I'm actually getting all giddy thinking about Ewan McGregor getting reunited with his old Jedi Master Liam Neeson.

After all the bullying he endured in his personal life after Episode I, it's also nice to see young Anakin Jake Lloyd agreeing to come back to the franchise even if it's just for a small photoshoot.

For now, Hamill is set to come back for Star Wars Episode IX, and hopefully he'll be able to shoot some scenes with actual people. Heck even if Yoda was just a Force ghost in The Last Jedi, they made sure that they shot him in the scene with Hamill.

Star Wars Episode IX is set to come out Dec. 20, 2019.
