Star Wars: Force Arena is Shutting Down

While Star Wars Battlefront II may have recently gotten some sure footing with their latest expansion, it seems that another Star Wars game is getting the ax. Just in, Star Wars: Force Arena is said to be shutting down their servers.

Here's the announcement (via Mobirum):

When we launched Star Wars™: Force Arena nearly two years ago, we aimed to provide the best and most immersive Star Wars experience possible for mobile gamers. The game featured iconic Star Wars™ characters and locations that transported us all to a galaxy far far away. Unfortunately, the time has come for us to part ways, and we need to make the difficult decision to end support for Star Wars™: Force Arena.

As of now, the game has suspended any in-app purchases, but players will still be able to buy items with crystals and credits. If you have any further problems though, you can also contact their support center here.

The game is said to be taken out of the app store on 01/18/2019 03:00 AM (UTC+0) | 01/17/2019 07:00 PM (PST), so if you want to try it out before it gets removed you should download before that time. Servers are expected to completely shut down by 03/19/2019 03:00 AM (UTC+0) | 03/18/2019 08:00 PM (PDT) / 07:00 PM (PST).

Until then, players can just play Force Arena as normal.

Though Force Arena will be gone, players can still try out Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes on their phones. You can also download Star Wars: Commander.
